The Office of Legislation and Regulations within the Department of Developmental Services is responsible for overseeing legislative and regulatory matters related to developmental services. This includes ensuring compliance with laws and engaging with the legislature. The office also manages and develops regulations pertaining to developmental services, ensuring these regulations are processed in accordance with the California Administrative Procedure Act (APA).

California Code of Regulations The California Office of Administrative Law maintains a Website containing the text of the complete California Code of Regulations (CCR) with the exception of Title 24 (California Building Standards.) The CCR consists of 27 titles and contains the regulations of approximately 200 regulatory agencies.

Other Legislative Information The California Legislative Counsel maintains the official site for California legislative information. This site has the full text of California statutes, the State Constitution, and new legislation including bills, resolutions, and constitutional amendments.
